Visited Yeye at St Lukes today. And.. It was heartwrenching. Really. We kept talking to him and he said nothing. And when he finally spoke, he said " hou sum fu " which means hen xin ku in canto ): I almost cried on the spot.. Mama and Aunt teared while i held back everything. Plus he looked so skinny.. Three meals all porridge. He can't even control his bladder. He took so bloody much effort just to scratch his ear. He can't even speak clearly. He can't even put his legs straight. He can't even walk around anymore. In the past he used to walk around in the house. " Left right left.. " All he can do now is to scream because he's frustrated and we can do nothing to help ): If i was him, and i knew i'm gonna be sent to a nursing home by my own children, i think i'll be better off dead. He also said he now is like between life and death and he would rather die. Fuck life. Nothing else more to express this sadness i feel deep within.
